Please note, I am one person with the intention of creating an online space for sharing short fiction & creative writing - so please be mindful that your work may not be published as soon as you submit it, and response times to questions and queries may be sporadic. This site is not monetized.

To submit creative writing for publication, please:

• Email it to [email protected] as an attached PDF or Word Doc file. 
• Feel free to include accompanying illustrations if you wish, and indicate on the story where they should appear. 
• In the body of the email, please indicate what, if any, genre(s) your story / piece might be categorized as.
• Also, please indicate if you would like to publish anonymously or credited. If credited, please include your full name.
• Feel free to also include a short bio, such as where you're from / living, and anything else you'd like to share about yourself.
• And please indicate if you'd like to receive feedback from readers. Otherwise feedback will be off by default. 

Terms of Use

• StoryBud is a space for short fiction/stories/prose/poetry/creative writing/etc. only. Other editorial content will not be published if submitted. 
• You should perform spelling & grammar checks before sending content as I will post as received. I will not edit your crafted content, though I reserve the right to do so for readability purposes only if necessary. 
• You understand that StoryBud is solely a platform for hosting works of short fiction/stories/prose/poetry/creative writing/etc. StoryBud is not responsible for how hosted content is interpreted, used, or further disseminated, etc. by others. 
• Submitting your content to StoryBud does not impact on your rights to your creations and intellectual property etc. StoryBud will not have any rights to or ownership of your content beyond its appearance on this website and associated social media channels.
• You declare that any content you submit is your own, or you are sufficiently authorized to submit said content on behalf of another. 
• Your content may be used in whole or in part for promotional purposes.
• You can request to have previously published work removed via email to [email protected] 
• The right to not publish submitted work is reserved. 
• By submitting content, you agree to receive correspondence from StoryBud.​

As a reader, you accept:

• The content hosted on StoryBud are works of fiction and are intended to be read as such. You choose to read these stories of your own volition. 
• Please note, as uncensored works of fiction, hosted writing can contain content that may potentially cause offense or be triggering. Reader discretion is advised.
• Where it's possible to provide feedback to a writer, please note that only worthwhile feedback in the form of positive comments or constructive criticism will be made available to them. Trolling, hate speech or other such vitriol intended to insult or offend will not be read or forwarded. And if you're inclined to write something like that, you're a waste of good underpants.
