During the 'lock-down' weeks, and suddenly without my job, I reluctantly entertained the idea of tapping into my creative potential to help maintain sanity and feel somewhat productive. I doodled, tried painting, and committed words to paper for the first time - the buds of random nonsense and absurdity in my imagination developing into tactile pieces of short fiction.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, I just want someone to read them, so StoryBud is born! I will be posting my short stories here, and I invite you to use this place to put your short stories and other creative writing out into the world too. I am not a 'writer', though I do write now. I am a storyteller, perhaps, and I want you to see StoryBud as a place to express yourself as a storyteller too, be you a potentially budding writer or an established writer, and to enjoy the writing of others. It's about creating because you feel like it - it doesn't have to be 'good' by anyone's standards - so, write it and share it on StoryBud! |
